  • This is a perfect and amazing Omakase experience! Chef Okudaira is such a perfect Japanese chef that everything that comes out from his amazing hands are just so perfect. You must pay Chef Okudaira a visit if you are in Fukuoka else you will regret

  • A very rare opportunity to have a special time in the city of Fukuoka. Every elements of the dishes are highly well balanced in the world class chefs hand with the most interesting ingredients across Japan. From the appetizer to dessert, every plates have there own story and you can feel the chef’s deep thought about the real food. We had about 8 course meal, starting from fish lever, aged Sashimi served with King offered soy sauce, Three different meat dishes with organic salt, wasabi and chefs receipt miso sauces. There were also the house famous japanese first grade eel fish which has a wonderful dense taste. There is more but I will let you find out yourselves ;) Don’t hesitate to chat with master Okudaira and his wife. Even we were not Japanese tongue, we enjoyed our talk very much and had no troubles to understand each-other. I strongly recommend this place to visit. And please while away your time.

  • Amazing experience we ended up with a private meal in the restaurant. We picked the 16,500yen option and wasn't disappointed. 8 course meal starting with shichimi mackerel and amberjack. Then we had marlin and eel, followed by lobster and kobe beef with chicken. We were able to taste salt from different seasons of the year and each had it's own character, our favourite was Autumn. Next was tuna and prawn nigiri, followed by miso soup and dessert. It was all amazing and the owner and the chef were lovely. Wasabi was freshly ground in front of us and was a amazing night.

  • Best meal of my life. Very nice staff. The chef is a master. All food and ingredients are organic which is rare in Japan. The ingredients are all masterfully selected from where it is best in Japan. I cannot recommend this place more, this is a destination restaurant. Make a reservation. Has Kobe beef, eel, sashimi and many other wonderful creations from chef. Mud shrimp, lobster sashimi (this was the best thing ever) in a tamago miso sauce, pure umami! One bad thing is that the woman that assisted the chef sneezed on our 4 different salts that are from various season from a special river in Japan. I didn’t see her wash her hands or replace the salt. Now I feel sick. Not sure if that’s why but almost certainly it is. I give 5 stars out of respect to the chef but wish she was more hygienic.

  • The food here is absolutely phenomenal! Every ingredient is organic and locally sourced from different regions across Japan. The beef is among the best you’ll find in the entire country—yet it comes at a fraction of the usual price for this level of quality because they get the supply from the farm directly. We loved chatting with the chef and his wife, who warmly shared stories about each ingredient and the inspiration behind the dishes. Sitting at the bar was a special experience—we got to watch the entire cooking process unfold right in front of us. This meal became one of our core memories from our trip to Japan. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant! Online reservation is needed, and if you don’t speak Japanese, Google Translate works just fine. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Fukuoka!
